1. Add the following polynomials: (2x² - 3x - 11) + (9x² - 8x - 6) = 6x² - 4x - 11 + 9x² - 8x - 6= 15x² - 12x - 17 

2. Subtract the following polynomials: (3x² +x - 8) - (7x² - 4x - 6) = 3x² +x - 8 - 7x² + 4x + 6 = -4x² + 5x - 2 

3. Multiply and combine like terms: (x – 5) (x + 5) =x² +5x -5x-25= x²- 25
