Evaluate:

1. 5x² + 6x - 3, when x = 2. Substitute 2 for x:  5(2)2 + 6(2) – 3=20+12-3=29

2. 2(x - y)² + 3y - 5x + 4, when x = -1 and y = 2. Substitute -1 for x and 2 for y: 2(-1 - 2)² + 3*2 – 5(-1) + 4= 18+6+5+4=33

3. 2z³ - 16z² + 38, when z=4. Substitute 4 for z: 2*4³ - 16*4² + 28 = 2*64 - 16*16 +38 = 128 -256 +28=-100
